Brasil 4D da EBC nominado para o premio IBC em Amsterdam

Brazil 4D project competes for the Innovation Awards Award 2016
The Brazil 4D Project, EBC, developed by Surel / Digel, is one of the finalists for the Innovation Awards Award 2016 in the categories Content Creation, Content Management and Content Delivery, promoted by IBC International Broadcasting Convention.
The aim of the "IBC Innovation Awards 2016" contest is the recognition of companies and more innovative projects for the promotion of values and competitive advantages by leveraging business value for its customers, from the use of data and information.
The International IBC event brings together the leading companies in information and communication in the world, particularly those linked to the productive chain of the new technologies of information and knowledge (ICT). The IBC is the premier annual event for professionals involved in the creation, management and delivery of entertainment content and news from around the world.
The award will be presented to the winners during the next IBC, to be held 08 and September 12 2016, in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Awards received by Brazil 4D project
For its technological innovations and potential inclusion sociodigital the Brazil 4D Project received since its creation in 2012, the following awards: Celso Furtado 2014 in honors granted by the Ministry of Social Integration; SET 2014 best interactive television project, awarded by the Television Engineering Society in the category; Frida Award 2014 for innovation, granted by LACNIC; SET 2013 best interactivity for broadcast TV using middleware Ginga; and honorable mention prize of Cumbre TV Abierta in 2013.
The national and international recognition has strengthened and disseminated the Brazil 4D design, making it a reference model for Brazil and for the 18 countries that have adopted the Brazilian System of Digital Terrestrial TV (ISDB-Tb).
The Brazilian government has adopted the settings and the Brazil 4D project model for the 14 million digital converters (set top boxes) to be distributed to the beneficiary families of the Bolsa Familia from all over the country, from 2016.

O Projeto Brasil 4D, da EBC, desenvolvido pela Surel/Digel, é um dos finalistas ao Prêmio Innovation Awards 2016, nas categorias Criação de Conteúdo, Gerenciamento de Conteúdo e Entrega de Conteúdo, promovido pelo IBC, International Broadcasting Convention.
O objetivo do concurso “IBC Innovation Awards 2016” é o reconhecimento das empresas e projetos mais inovadores para a promoção de valores e vantagens competitivas, alavancando o valor do negócio para os seus clientes, a partir do uso de dados e informações.
O evento internacional do IBC reúne as principais empresas de informação e comunicação do mundo, sobretudo as ligadas à cadeia produtiva das novas tecnologias de informação e conhecimento (TIC’s). O IBC é o principal evento anual para profissionais envolvidos na criação, gerenciamento e entrega de conteúdo de entretenimento e notícias de todo o mundo.
O prêmio será entregue aos vencedores durante o próximo IBC, que será realizado de 08 e 12 de setembro de 2016, em Amsterdam, Holanda.

Por suas inovações tecnológicas e potencial de inclusão sociodigital o Projeto Brasil 4D recebeu, desde sua criação em 2012, os seguintes prêmios: Celso Furtado 2014, em menção honrosa concedida pelo Ministério da Integração Social; SET 2014 de melhor projeto de interatividade para televisão, concedido pela Sociedade de Engenharia de Televisão na categoria; Prêmio Frida 2014 de inovação, concedido pelo LACNIC; SET 2013 de melhor interatividade para TV aberta usando o middleware Ginga; e a menção honrosa do prêmio Cumbre de TV Abierta 2013.
O reconhecimento nacional e internacional tem fortalecido e disseminado o Projeto Brasil 4D, tornando-o um modelo de referência para o Brasil e para os 18 países que adotaram o Sistema Brasileiro de TV digital Terrestre (ISDB-Tb).
O governo brasileiro já adotou as configurações e o modelo do Projeto Brasil 4D para os 14 milhões de conversores digitais (set top boxes) a serem distribuídos para as famílias beneficiárias do programa Bolsa Família de todo o país, a partir de 2016.
